"Dear Jan,
I'd like to thank you, because seeing you in action has opened my eyes about how many unnecessary prejudices I still have about anything that resides under the term "selling" - inclusive networking, what I saw as one of the worst forms: selling myself ...
But when I saw how you acted and interacted last night, I realised networking can be done in a different way. I realised it is about sincere interest for other people - and I also realised that when you have the right attitude and mindset networking can be fun, sincere and useful.
So thank you very much for showing me what networking is really about - to use Covey terminology: you have caused a paradigm shift with me!
